Dr. Deepak Wadhwa is the Founder of DNA Technologies and Vice President – International at IFEVA. He is a respected industry leader with over 30 years of cross-domain experience across advanced manufacturing, industrial automation, and energy systems. His leadership is driven by a strong belief in technology-led growth, engineering precision, and long-term sustainability.
With a solid academic background in Electronics and more than a decade of specialized experience in lithium-ion battery manufacturing and energy storage systems, Dr. Wadhwa has played a key role in establishing DNA Technologies as a technology-driven engineering organization serving the global EV and clean energy ecosystem. From its inception, DNA Technologies was envisioned not merely as a company, but as a platform to strengthen India’s EV and energy manufacturing backbone.
Under his guidance, the organization focuses on high-precision manufacturing, scalable system architectures, and solutions aligned with global standards and compliance frameworks. Along with advanced machinery and automation solutions, Dr. Wadhwa has also led the development of DNA Technologies’ Manufacturing Execution System (MES), designed specifically for lithium-ion battery and advanced manufacturing environments.
The MES enables real-time production monitoring, process traceability, quality control, and data-driven decision-making, while ensuring smooth integration with automation and enterprise systems. This has helped manufacturers improve operational efficiency, maintain consistency, and align with global manufacturing practices.
Beyond organizational leadership, Dr. Wadhwa actively contributes to the industry as a speaker, panelist, and technical contributor at national and international EV and Battery Energy Storage System forums. He regularly shares insights on next-generation battery technologies, manufacturing scalability, automation-driven efficiency, and sustainable energy deployment.
He is also deeply committed to knowledge sharing and talent development, having conducted advanced technical workshops and training programs in collaboration with engineering institutions, universities, and IITs, helping prepare industry-ready professionals for the evolving energy landscape.
As part of DNA Technologies’ strategic expansion, Dr. Wadhwa has further strengthened the group with the formation of Prolithium India Pvt. Ltd. and DNA Netra Pvt. Ltd. Through his leadership, he continues to guide DNA Technologies with a clear focus on engineering excellence, indigenous capability building, and the development of future-ready energy infrastructure, contributing meaningfully to the global transition toward clean and sustainable mobility.
